Operation Sealion goes ahead in September, 1940, with German forces taking several key beachheads in southern England. Falling back, the British and Allied forces reinforce London and resolve to hold the capital. German forces struggle to maintain their logistical tail as the Royal Navy and US Navy pound the vulnerable south-western flank of the trans-Channel supply route. American reinforcements eventually halt the German advance, but only when London is partially surrounded. The British Government relocates to Edinburgh and the two sides face off across a vaguely defined border. What happens now? Resistance? Irish involvement? German overextension? US role? A vichy-equivalent govrenment? I welcome your thoughts...
